One of the problems we've had with using the standard 'Stanley' knife over the years - either with the retractable or fixed (ouch) blade is simply that they hold water very well after being used to clear the weed-hatch!

Other than taking them apart and drying them out, the only other option is a badly rusted knife that's pretty much unusable the next time you need it.

This knife solves that problem!

It takes standard 'Stanley' blades, folds away, locks open, has a belt clip which doubles as a lanyard clip - and although the body is aluminium, the mechanism is magnetic - so you can always reclaim your knife (if you forget the lanyard and drop it), with your magnet!

Basically, this is now on my list of 'must have' tools.  Great to use for anything I'd normally use a 'Stanley knife' for, including clearing carpet and thick plastic sheeting from the prop, but also for opening boxes, cutting cardboard into 'recyclable' size etc.
